On line appointment booking for face to face appointments has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. You can book a telephone triage appointment on line, use Econsult or ring the surgery. Your request for an appointment will be triaged by the GP to assess whether or not you need to come into the surgery to be seen. All GPs have been requested to move to digital appointments where possible. Please read the additional corona virus symptom information. What to do if you have symptoms
Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:
a high temperature
a new continuous cough
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you're staying at home
From 1st July you will be able to book an appointment to be seen by an Emergency Healthcare Practitioner or Healthcare Assistant on Saturday and Sunday at the Extended Hours Clinic at Bishop Auckland General Hospital. These clinics are run by the Durham Dales Health Federation and need to be booked by phoning our receptionists.
Repeat Prescription Requests
We now only accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone if you are housebound or have exceptional circumstances. We encourage you to register and use the online service or you can drop your prescription off at your local branch or send by post.
